tried to post this a couple of times now... unsuccessfully lol so this post is going to be way shorter than the first version!

i decided to do the scrapping word blog challenge for June (would insert the link but typepad is being fussy today) anyway, i went entirely from the instructions because i didnt want to be swayed on how i put it together and i think it turned out great!

i love the cogsmo on the white! it just pops of the page lol i will be doing more of this!! and those cogs where just crying out to be cut up and put to good use... i love how it turned out but reminds me of a layout i did of this very photo a while back... will have to dig it out

love and miss this age with Mitch, the words whirl wind and destruction come to mind lol he was FULL ON but in the cutes boyish of ways... must dig up more photos of this age to scrap

i dusted off the camera

today and took it out motorbike riding, it spent most of its time in manual mode... i tried some arty farty shots as well as trying to catch of some of the action of my crazy hubby and kids riding!! im stoked with what i got, of course i am no professional and i am happy for any tips and hints!!!!

i had so much fun running around in the bush taking these shots, it was far more fun than getting muddy on motorbikes lol, i am the only one in the family that rarely rides!!! Hubby and the kids are motorbike mad... me id rather stay clean with all skin and bones in tact THANKYOU lol. there were more photos than this but these were some of my faves

not much to report here at the moment, mosying on just fine... daily grind kinda stuff, still loving Perth!!!

Hannah finally went to school today, poor little chook has been so sick!! We ended up having to get antibiotics for her as she had a temperature that didnt drop not when dosed to the hilt with panadol!!. She is finally feeling well enough to go to school... i think lol. So she is at her new school for the first time today, She seemed to fit in just fine and the kids in the class had been told that she was coming so were all very welcoming!! im so glad because she is craving some girly girly play time... She wanted me to drive back to Hopetoun so she could play with Abbey!!!!

Hmm so what does that mean for me.... well all three kids are at school, matt is out catching up with friends and i am in the house ALONE holey cow i have no idea how long it has been!!! i have the stereo cranked, scrapbooking stuff EVERYWHERE my elmo slippers on and i am LOVING IT... i even called out "does anyone need me right now" and there was NO reply... i am in HEAVEN lol i know small things huh!!!!!

Yesterday we took the kids to a nearby park...

it was so much fun, that big white and black duck?goose? thing was a little friendly for my liking!!! it chased me and i didnt even have any bread lol...

ok off to scrap and be lazy. have a nice day

the weekend

its the most normal weekend i have had in a long time... no boxes, no ringing around, just hanging around the house, ok well i did do a little shopping but we have mostly just hung out... Bliss!!!

the last couple of days where hectic but in the most lovely of ways. On Thursday i headed out to Scrap It Flaunt It, who i am a dt member for. The place is lovely, they have the most delicious stock, loads of inspiration literally everywhere!!! and the most lovely ladies working there. It was so great to be able to walk around the store putting pages together in my head as i filled up my basket!! i love love love having a scrapbook shop near by and they have loads of classes and crops which i cant wait to be a part of. I also loved catching up with Jodie who is one of four lovely ladies who own and run the store, we have known each other for years, in actual fact it was Jodie who first got me interested in scrapbooking!! hmm if it wasn't for Jodie i might not have become addicted to scrapbooking!!!. So if you are in the area go check them out!, im going to check my diary to see when i can go to a crop or class because i cant wait to meet more scrapbooking gals :0) and learn some more techniques... i have my eyes on that ATC card class!!! Hannah was so inspired after being at the store that she created this little layout

Then Thursday afternoon we had three separate lots of visitors from Hopetoun... just when i was missing the place :0) it was great to kick back with a cuppa just like always lol (who am i kidding it wasn't normal there was no wine :o)!!!)  Anyway it was really nice and seems that i will be having even more visitors soon

On Friday i caught up with my best est friend in the world, my friend that i have known since year 8 i think!! i have missed her so much, it is amazing that even tho we haven't seen each other for so long we don't miss a beat. It is going to be so sweet to spend more time with her and her beautiful little family, we have always wanted our kids to grow up close together and now they can!!! Love you Nic :0)... On that note i have to let people know that i am hoping to spend a bit of time in Bunbury on the school holidays, to catch up with nic and some old school friends... i know there are a couple of scrapbooking gals that i have been chatting to from down that way so if you are keen to catch up email or leave me a comment to let me know :o)

ohh and you know that gorgeous little uniform that Hannah was wearing a post or two back... She doesn't need it now, i paid the fees, bought the uniform then was rang by the school that my older children go to saying that she now had a place there!!! i am happy that she has a placing at this school though because i was having to travel in two opposite directions to pick up and drop off, it wasn't much fun!!! Heres hoping that i can work at that school too, wonder if they accept bribery lol

This little guy is Sam, we have the honor of looking after my brothers dog and bird for a week, im not much of an animal lover myself but he insisted that the little guy (if he is a guy) would grow on me... i had my doubts but guess what!!! i have been chatting to Sam most of the morning oh and having whistling wars lol. The little guy has been a huge source of amusement, it makes a noise like a telephone which is always met with bursts of laughter and encouragement. I do think he is sick of being fussed over by the kids but im sure he will survive or at least i hope he does!!!

ok i think i have blabbered on enough miss Hannah is suffering from a cold, croaking voice, high temps, coughing and spluttering so i need to go snuggle with her!!!!

Finally blogging again, it has taken so long to get back on track but i think i am there. the last couple of weeks have gone by in a blur of happiness, sadness excitement and worry there was definately alot of stress in this little house but i think all is now sorted and we are happily living in perth.

My kiddies are back at school and loving it

they have gone from a little school of roughly 150 children to one that has 800 students, they were a little nervous but they have fitted in without a problem and are loving the extra subjects that they get to do here

I couldnt get hannah into the same school sadly, so i put her into a cute little school that has just started up, she started today and i am a little anxious as to how she is going...she goes two full days (instead of 4 half)  and she was too excited to sleep last night so no doubt she will be exhausted by the time i pick her up

for me i havent missed work yet, and i thought i just might today but i have had mitch home sick so i didnt get a chance to be bored!! feeling quite organised now and am itching to scrapbook, i am going to head over to Scrap it Flaunt it this week and have a look around and of course some retail therapy... think i might even book in for one of thier crop nights!! bit scared tho, i get stage fright and cant seem to scrap in front of people!!! im serious, is that strange????

oh and thought i would share my entry for the scrapbook creations colour comp

the colours are heaps prettier in real life, i am really happy with how it turned out... and that i got to reminiss about those cute moments that seem to have disappeared

so glad i entered (even tho i didnt win) i love the challenge of creating something unique with rules adn regulations

2 days until matt gets here (huray) with the truck

3 days until i say my last sad farwells to the many many wonderful freinds i have made here

4 days until i set of for our new house.........

Just look at her, for the hour before this i had asked her would she like to have a lay down. She hasnt been sleeping well at all and i knew by the little tanties she was pulling that she needed a sleep pronto... but being the defiant little miss that she is, she insisted she was ok and pushed on. So here she is 5 minutes before school pick up time, she had just nodded off... look at how she is balanced, head back and bottom on the chair held up by legs against my computer desk. too cute, look at that itty bitty belly button peeking out from under her top, just gorgeous

BTW hannah is asleep in HER bed tonight finally i can get some rest poor little chook

i did actually scrap last night, but cant show it as i sent it off for the scrapbook creations colour comp. I really enjoyed it, i used baby photos of hannah and went with the raspberry and sky blue colour theme.. i like how it turned out...of course i express posted it as usual i left it till the last minute, i think that is just me, must be how i roll lol

ok hannah not sleeping means i havent been either so i am off to bed, sweet dreams fellow blog readers :0)

2 days until my last day of work :0(

2 days until i collect my mum from the bus stop :o)

7 days until matt comes home (counting down the milli seconds)

and

8 maybe 9 days until i move to perth

im excited, nervous, sad, scared...... im everything, wish us luck ;o)

ive been busy packing again *groan* which is making me miserable seems i only unpacked into this house 3 months ago!! so Cross!!!!  -deep breaths, breathe innnnnnn..... and oooouuuuuuttt ok calm again (rolls eyes)

anyway there i was packing some of our outdoor stuff when i stumbled across this

how stinking cute is this thing!!! i stopped dead in my tracks and had to take a photo.. because it is so cute, because these trees in this backyard are Mitchells whole world (ok barring the KTM), because i have to scrap this and remember how much time he spent making cubbies and obviously signs and basically living in those trees, and because i just love the way he spells words as they sound... GORGEOUS This is making me smile, making my heart melt and making want to hit the pause button so i can keep him like this for a while lol. Heres to hoping that he can find some trees in the area that we move to, not sure he will be able to hammer nails through wood and into the trunk to make steps, or write KTM's rule all over the branches, or stash all his favourite motorcross men up in the top branches but a boy has to have a tree or two.. at least mine does ;o)

itching to scrap and feel like tomorrow night is that time to scrap... heres hoping. Things are finally starting to fall into place regarding the move and i am feeling a little less stressed. Just want to scrap lol and let these creative juices loose lol

We are moving back to Perth, after 7 long years away from the hustle and bustle we are going back... i am well Petrified to say the least lol, but im sure we will manage

if your reading this scratching your head wondering why this is the first you have heard of it... Im sorry its happened fast, all my time has been spent with a phone stuck to my ear or organising on the net.

the good news is i will have REAL scrapbook shops to shop in, fresh fresh fruit & veg, bargains, fabric shops, FAMILY ohh the list is endless. The kids are absolutely jumping out of thier skins with excitement and the more i think about it the more i am too... its just the logistics of it all that has me scrambled lol

so that is why i havent updated or answered your emails or calls.. dont give up on me just yet lol, once i have this all in order i will be back to my chatty, cant shut me up self lol

till then it may be a little quiet on this here blog.....

im off work today

with a horrible head cold, just what i need lol.. i havent slept so much in my life im sure lol

My layout for We Challenge You i like the way it turned out although it does seem quite empty for a layout of mine lol

of course this month it was my turn to create a layout and the challenge was..." using a photo of you make a layout using paint, hand stitching, stamping and some flowers"

so, there is definately a photo of me, i have painted the grungeboard to match the blue in the scalloped edge, the circle is hand stitched, my dragonflies are stamped and i have two flowers... one heidi swapp and one making memories!!!

the journaling is a little hard to read in places because i actually printed (mirrored) onto a plastic sleeve and then put it onto my layout and at the last minute smudged it!!! i wasnt happy but it does kind of give it a sketchy dairy entry look so i am ok with it

Some of you long standing friends will get a little laugh out of the journaling, and those of you that dont know me that well will get an insight to my wierd sense of humour... :o)
